Privacy Policy for Relic Words

Last updated: 28/07/2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you use Relic Words (“the app”), an Android game published by Anubis Works (“we, “us”).

In short: we do not collect, store or transmit any personal information about you. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and works entirely offline. Your game progress stays on your device. The only time the app uses the internet is to load an advert you have chosen to watch, or to complete a purchase — both handled by Google, which collects some data of its own. That is described below.

Information we collect

None. We do not operate any servers, we do not have accounts, and we do not receive, store or have access to any information about you or your device.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your game progress locally on your device. This includes levels completed, words found, gold earned, relics restored and your sound and music settings. This information never leaves your device except as described under "Device backup" below, and is deleted if you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows optional rewarded video adverts. You are never required to watch one; they appear only if you choose to watch an advert in exchange for a hint or gold.

These adverts are provided by Google AdMob. To serve adverts, Google may collect and process information including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device type and operating system version, and information about your interaction with adverts. We do not receive this information.

You can limit advert personalisation at any time in your device settings, under Settings → Google → Ads, where you can also reset or delete your advertising ID.

Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The app offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks the full game. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or handle your payment details. Google tells the app only whether the purchase is owned, so the correct content can be unlocked.

Device backup

Android may include the app's saved progress in your device's automatic backup to your Google account, depending on your device settings. This is a feature of Android rather than of the app, and the backup is held in your own Google account. You can turn this off in your device's backup settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will assist — although, as described above, we do not collect any information to begin with.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold any personal information, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. To remove all data the app has stored on your device, uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings. For data held by Google, please refer to Google's privacy policy linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
